Eating Seasonably- July Edit
Every season has a different effect on our bodies, and to help our bodies adapt to the external changes, it's important to consume foods that are naturally abundant during that season.
According to Ayurveda, we are currently in the Grishma (mid-May to mid-July) season. During this season, the days are longer and warmer and it's recommended to eat foods that are light to digest including those that are sweet, unctuous, cold and fluid. The easiest way to do this, is by sourcing local fruits and vegetables!
Below is a general list of seasonal produce in the month of July. However, some of the items will depend on where you are located in the world. For a more specific list, I recommend checking in with your local farmers.Â
